The Association Ciao Italia was formed in 1982 at a conference held in the Hilton Hotel Rome. The aim of its founder was to reunite Italian restaurateurs throughout the world, for it was recognised that the Italian restaurant abroad is the most significant representative of “Made In Italy”, through its warm Italian hospitality, its delicious cuisine using genuine Italian products and also representing a major factor in Italy’s exports.
